On January 28, Albemarle County, the Nau Center for Civil War History, and the UVA's Albert and Shirley Small Special Collections Library staff held a virtual presentation on the recovery and preservation of materials found inside the 1909 time capsule found under the Confederate soldier statue in front of the county courthouse. Nau Center Director Caroline E. Janney was one of the featured speakers at this event. The video of this lecture, "Preserving Harmful Histories," is now available to view on YouTube.
