Brian Neumann and Ciaran Dean-Jones will be presenting their master's theses back to back on Thursday, April 21 from noon to 1:30 in the Byrd/Morris Room. Brian's talk is "The State of Greenville: The Struggle for Union in Upcountry South Carolina, 1830-1835," and Ciaran's is "Union vs. Union: Debating Secession in the 'Flanders of America.'"
