Rable, Charles Summersell Professor Emeritus of Southern History at the University of Alabama, gave a lecture in the auditorium of the Harrison Institute Small Special Collections Library titled, "How Much Should We Hate the Rebels?: Northern Wartime Debates on Hatred and Vengeance."
