We are pleased to announce Phd Candidate Brian Neumann recently received a fellowship from the Jefferon Scholars Foundation. Neumann's fellowship will help support him in his final years in the History PhD program, allowing him to concentrate on researching and writing his dissertation on Unionism in South Carolina during the Nullfication Crisis. Neumann is also an important contributor to the Nau Center's "UVA Unionists" digital project.
