The Nau Center is pleased to present audio from our September 20 discussion of Lt. Gen. Ulysses S. Grant’s famous Memoirs between our Director Caroline E. Janney and renowned Grant scholar, Professor John F. Marszalek. This lecture, the first in our new Crozer Lecture Series, was generously funded by William F. Crozer ’07.
Professor Marszalek is the executive director and managing editor of the Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library and Giles Distinguished Professor Emeritus at Mississippi State University. It was a privilege to host him at UVA, and we thank Sean McCord of the Small Special Collections Library for recording this event.
