2020 American Civil War Museum Symposium

The Nau Center will co-host this year's American Civil War Museum symposium. It will be held on February 22 from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the Library of Virginia in Richmond. The 2020 Symposium, “20/20 Hindsight – and Insight – on the American Civil War,” will feature William C. “Jack” Davis of Virginia Tech and Gary W. Gallagher of the University of Virginia reflecting on what they have found to be the most essential points of Civil War history. Tamika Nunley of Oberlin College, Susannah Ural of the University of Southern Mississippi, and Jonathan White of Christopher Newport University will also share their path-breaking research on facets of the Civil War and Emancipation history.

Cost: $40 for members; $20 for students; $65 general admission (includes lunch).
