Barbra Wall publishes on Civil War Hospitals and Nurses

Nau Center affiliate Barbra Mann Wall recently coauthored an article in The Southern Quarterly comparing conditions in northern and southern hospitals during the Civil War. The article " The North vs. the South: Conditions at Civil War Hospitals" can be found in the journal's Spring/Summer edition (Volume 53, Numbers 3/4).  Focusing primarily on Philadelphia and Richmond, Wall's work is a valuable contribution to the history of nursing and medical care during the conflict.
