American Civil War Museum 2018 Symposium

The Nau Center will be co-sponsoring a symposium with the American Civil War Museum in Richmond on February 24, 2018. The event will take place at the Library of Virginia from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

From the Museum's Website:

"The American Civil War wrought great changes not only on the nation’s physical and Constitutional landscape, but also in the lives of the American people. The Museum’s 2018 symposium will explore the impact of the war on diverse groups of people and narrate the stories of individuals who navigated the challenges and opportunities of war.

The speakers for the 2018 symposium are Dr. Peter S. Carmichael, Dr. Thavolia Glymph, Dr. James I. Robertson, Jr., Dr. Jane Schultz, and Dr. Amy Murrell Taylor.

Cost: $65 for adults; Members: $40; Students: $20 (Includes boxed lunch if registered before Feb. 21, 2018)."
